As like all Bollywood movies Dabangg too has all the must have ingredients of a typical hindi movie. It's loud, crazy and zany peppered with the hot latke jhatke to chalu type to romantic melody. The movie oozes with the charisma of being a Salman Khan movie. Dabangg is the movie for the masses. The sole aim of Dabangg is to entertain and it has successfully achieved it. Those who appreciate madness of mainstream masala movie Dabangg is the greatest film of this year.

Dabangg means Fearless. Dabangg as opposite to usual Romance & Emotional Dramas is Pure Action Packed Movie. Go & Enjoy lots of Action in this 2 hour and 5 minute flick. There is nothing new in the story. It is the same old story of 1970s & 1980s Masala Movie of good and bad, step father and family clashes. Dabangg is trying to revive the same formula again. But, the stunning action, special effects and good music make it a fultoo entertainer. The film is also important for couple of people who are making debut with it. Firstly Abhinav Kashyap who stepped into direction with Dabangg has proved himself with his excellent Direction of Action Sequences. The debutant director Abhinav Kashyap is walking down the road of inventing age-old formula in modern times. Secondly, it is first production under the 'Arbaaz Khan Production'.

The story is set in a rustic environment of Uttar Pradesh that revolves round the life of corrupt cop Chulbul Pandey aka Robinhood Pandey, played by Salman Khan.

Plot/Story:

The film begins with the rendering the differences between Chulbul with his half brother Makkhi and step father Prajapati Pandey (Vinod Khanna). His mother (Dimple Kapadia) always tries to bridge the gap between the Corrupt cop Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) with his step brother, Makkhi (Arbaaz Khan) and stepdad but all in vain. The things begin to turn after the death of Chulbul's mother. Now the Cop also tries to set cordial relation with brother and dad on the behest of his mother.

Between the family tiffs and fights with local goon (Sonu Sood) a potter girl Rajo (Sonakshi Sinha) captures the heart of Chulbul Pandey. He wants to marry her who refuses to succumb to his charms. After a couple of playful events Chulbul marries Rajo and his struggle with the crumbling administration and trial to patch up with the family continues.

Salman Khan is the anchor of the show but newcomer charming Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of veteran actor and MP Shatrughan Sinha played her role as Salman's quiet and shy girlfriend very well. She attracts everyone's attention with her great screen presence and spontaneity. The film somehow matches with Salman's brutish image. I should not forget the BAD GUY of the film, Sonu Sood who spices up the acting folio.

The dialogues are rough and street-smart. The beautiful cinematography by Mahesh Limaye, astonishing stunts by S Vijayan complimenting Salman's larger-than life image and above all 'Munni badnam' number will definitely pull viewers to theatres. Dabangg is indeed the Blockbuster of the year 2010.

It is time to rejoice for Salman fans. The film is all set to provide 200% gratification to the masses and is expected to make new benchmarks at the box-office.
